"So far, my cat has not eaten any of the food from this variety pack. I've given it to him straight out of the package and broken into bite size pieces. I've tried rehydrating it partially and completely, but he just sniffs it and walks away. And then he eats his dry food until I give him something else. He will usually try new foods and then not eat them well again. But he has no desire to try this food at all! :("

"My cat's are very picky, but very cheap dates. They like grocery store kibble. As much as I try to introduce better-for-them food, their preferences will tend towards junk food. Both are rescues, so I blame inconsistent quality food at their shelters. My older cat loved the Pacific Fish one day, but didn't want anything to do with it after that. My young kitten loved the lamb, but not twice in a row. So your cat food is a no-go from me and the girls."

Not to some of my cats taste

"This is kind of a hard review to put together. On one side I have 2 cats that like them then I have 3 that do not. They are very hard and it makes it difficult for some of my cats to eat them. I do not know if they are made to be rehydrated. I even tried to do that , but it didn’t work. I have one cat that takes them get the flavor out then spits it out. 2 like them and 2 do not. But let me say I have picky cats. So needless to say the Smack were not a hit with my cats."

With your 250g bag of cat food, feeding them roughly 50g per day for one meal, does that mean that one bag lasts about 5 days? So you would need about 6 bags a month in order to feed a roughly average cat?
You would be correct, Teressa! You may notice that the larger, 1.5kg / 3.3lb bags would be a lot better bang-for-your-buck as they contain 15 cups worth of food, lasting an entire month of daily feeding assuming 50g are fed per day!
How much do I feed my 11 lbs and 13 lbs cats a day?
Hi Elaine, thank you for your question. For your two cats, our feeding guidelines suggest feeding them anywhere from 1/3 cup (or 33g) if they are less active, up to 1/2 cup (or 50g) if they are more active! Feed once daily though your cat may graze as cats have the inherent tendency to do so. Cats tend to drink wherever water is available, so we advise keeping a few drinking stations.
