    ADULT CATS: Feed once daily though your cat may graze as cats have the inherent tendency to do so. Cats tend to drink wherever water is available, so we advise keeping a few drinking stations. If your cat is a picky eater (like most cats!), add a small portion of Very Berry for Cats into your cat's outgoing diet.

    NOTES: Adjust feeding according to age, activity, metabolism, and body type. Keep fresh, clean water available at all times.

    "My cat has had very Berry for cats. Thought I'd switch it out for Pacific fish feast. Unfortunately his stool became very loose and so smelly. Not ideal when you live in a 600 sf apartment! Pork also doesn't agree with him. I love the protein in your product as he is diabetic, so very Berry it will continue to be."

    We’ve tried Smack for my

    "We’ve tried Smack for my rescued cat because I saw these at my holistic vet’s clinic and I trust that it is high quality food. My vet recommended the change to raw diet for my golden over 20 years ago and I saw the invaluable health benefit of a raw diet. Smack food makes it so easy to feed raw and my cat who was abandoned due to a food sensitivity absolutely loves this flavour and is doing well on the third bag now. He also tried Very Berry flavour.     Taurine is essential for cats, yet I don’t see it listed in the ingredients. Is this an oversight or is it hidden in the ingredients?
    Hi Rachel, Great question! All of the taurine will be from natural meat and organ sources in Smack. We intentionally do not use any synthetic vitamins or minerals, as the body cannot recognize and utilize synthetics in the same way as it can natural sources, which provide much higher bioavailability. The taurine content for our cat recipes range from 0.24% to 0.30%, which exceeds the AAFCO minimum recommended taurine content for cat foods. The Pacific Fish Feast taurine content is 0.27%.
