- Hi Keith, the daily cost of feeding a 10lb dog is calculated by dividing the price of a bag into its total weight (2.5kg), then multiplying it by the amount of food a 10lb dog needs per day: 1/3cup (33gr).
- Hello, we bought our first bag to try today and I had a question about the feeding amounts. Do you break it up into small pieces and measure out the cups that way? We just fed our two pups this a.m. and the bag says it's got 2.5cups but if we break it down to 1/4 and 1/2 twice a day the bag would last maybe 3 days? But breaking it up seems like I can get a few more days so just trying to understand the best way to portion it out. We are going from a 100% raw diet to Smack due to it being easier when we travel but getting slightly confused on how to do the portions based on what is estimated in the bag of 2.5cups.
- Hi Kevin,to feed a more accurate measurement you can measure by weight instead of volume. One cup by measurement is equal to 100g by weight.
