"Well, my cat has never had this type of food before. He seems to love it (the pork)! He’s allergic to chicken. He’s been breaking out a little bit and I’m not sure if it’s an ingredient in this food. So, I’m going to wait about another week and try again hoping it was a coincidence or something else. But, he does love the pork."

"My cat is about a year old now and she is so incredibly picky! I’ve even tried feeding her a raw food diet which she liked for a short while but then got bored and stopped eating. Tried every kind of wet food- even the high end stuff but it just doesn’t appeal to her. She would only eat dry kibble but even that she would never finished the bowl completely. I knew I needed to incorporate something with more nutritional value but also something that she would like in terms of texture. This stuff seemed perfect to me because it’s crunchy like kibble but obviously way healthier. I started out with the variety pack and I’m glad I did because I did not think she would gravitate towards the Perfect Pork flavor but she likes that one the best. I started out by mixing it with her dried kibble and gradually added more Smack. The only thing is, I still have to break up the strips in smaller peaces for her- she really can’t figure out how to chomp it up on her own. I don’t mind doing this but I do wish this stuff came in smaller bits for cats. Besides that, this stuff is great. It smells like something I would eat! Not that I’ve tried it, but it smells like human grade food to me so I could see why my cat likes it so much. I would suggest definitely trying out the variety pack first to see what flavor your cat likes the best and maybe break it up in smaller peaces until they get used to it."
"My dog loves both the dog and cat pork recipe. I like to rotate them so she doesn’t get bored. I usually give it to her right before bed so she doesn’t wake up hungry. I love the convenience of it. I’ve purchased a few times now. Recommend!"
